State Troopers rescue a 22 year-old Healy man after he spent three days in the frozen Alaska wilderness.

Andrew Costales claims that another man left him to freeze to death. He was found 10 miles east of Healy in an unheated cabin late Saturday night, suffering from frostbite and hypothermia. Costales had hit the SOS button on his locator beacon. One of the Troopers responding to the call, Eric Jeffords, says Costales would likely not have made it through the night.

Costales apparently walked about 35 miles over Thursday and Friday in temperatures as low as 30 degrees below zero.
