      The Department of Fish and Game gives Alaskans an unusual perspective from a bear's point of view.  The clips above were recorded in May and June of 2011.     

     The brown bears are wearing collars mounted with video cameras. Biologists have been studying south central brown bears in the Copper River Basin to evaluate the effects of hunter harvest on the bear population as well as the bears' impacts on the moose population. 
     These clips are from "A Bear's Eye View, a Day in the Life of a Bear" which is a 13 minute compilation of a day's worth of video.
