Man Stabbed in Neck in Downtown Fairbanks

Felony assault and evidence tampering charges have been filed against a Fairbanks man accused of stabbing a man in the neck during a fight.

FAIRBANKS- Felony assault and evidence tampering charges have been filed against a Fairbanks man accused of stabbing a man in the neck during a fight.
32-year-old Daniel Macfee is being held without bail at Fairbanks Correctional Center.
Police say the incident occurred early Tuesday in downtown Fairbanks.
Officers responding to a report of a stabbing found Macfee near a water fountain. His head and hands were covered in blood and he had a bump on his head. Police say he later showed investigators a knife hidden in a flower bed.
