Police Seek Missing Fairbanks Woman; Asks Public For Help

The Anchorage Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing Fairbanks woman. Mary Anne Alexie, 33, traveled to Anchorage to attend Alaska Career College last week.

ANCHORAGE - The Anchorage Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing Fairbanks woman.

Mary Anne Alexie, 33, traveled to Anchorage to attend Alaska Career College last week.

Officers say Alexie arrived in Anchorage last Tuesday (10/9) afternoon and has not had any contact with school officials. The last known contact was with her friends over the phone Wednesday (10/10) where she told them she was in Spenard and didn't know where to go.

Anyone with information on Mary Alexie’s whereabouts should call Anchorage Police Department immediately at 786-8900.
