ANCHORAGE- Officials say an earthquake that was recorded near Denali National Park and Preserve rattled some nearby homes, but there have been no reports of damage.


The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says in a release that the minor earthquake happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday.


It was centered about seven miles east of Denali Park, the town at the outskirts of the national park.


Authorities say it had a magnitude of 3.2 and was located at a depth of about 4 miles.


Residents of the town of Cantwell, about five miles northwest of the epicenter, reported feeling the quake.
