KENAI- Employees at CH2M Hill's Kenai unit are being urged by the construction and engineering company to find other jobs.

Officials told employees early last month the facility had 60 days to sell or it would be closed. But the company says the closing date remains Monday.
CH2M Hill's director of operations, Denis Leblanc, told employees this week that they have been in talks with a potential buyer. However, that process is going very slowly.
Leblanc told employees they should protect their own interests and actively search for other jobs.
He also said he was concerned that not many employees are using workforce development resources CH2M Hill has set up to help them with transitions to other jobs. The Kenai unit employs about 65 people.
