Dixiano Charged with Murder

Sixty-three-year-old William Dixiano has been charged for murdering his wife, Angela Dixiano. 

Police say that he led them to a body off the 86 mile of the Glenn Highway last Friday. They believe that the body belongs to his wife.

According to a state prosecutor, Dixiano told police about the body after signing a plea agreement and confessing to 2nd degree murder and theft.

Officials said that the human remains were found out in the open near the highway.

Angela Dixiano disappeared in April of 2010, allegedly after threatening to expose her husband for fraud.

He allegedly stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a developmentally disabled man who inherited millions from his parents.

Police have not officially identified the body yet.

Dixiano is scheduled for a change of plea hearing this Friday.
