TOMS RIVER, NJ- Officials are set to release the results of the investigation into the New Jersey boardwalk fire that destroyed dozens of businesses last week.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's fire investigation task force has scheduled a news conference Tuesday afternoon in Toms River.
Spokesman Al Della Fave says the reconstruction team will release its findings.
Thursday's blaze devoured four blocks of boardwalk in the neighboring towns of Seaside Park and Seaside Heights, which were recovering from Superstorm Sandy.
Gov. Chris Christie's administration has decided the state will use Sandy-recovery money to pay for debris removal to speed the rebuilding process. Christie has also pledged $15 million from Sandy recovery money to help rebuild the burned businesses.
