Anchorage, AK - Good news for patients across Alaska – Providence and the Alaska Nurses Association have come to an agreement on a tentative three-year contract.

Providence officials say the contract includes a competitive wage and benefit package, modest increases to differentials/specialty pay, a new paid time off benefit program that includes paid parental leave and short-term disability, and measures to help ensure nurses receive meal and rest breaks.

The Alaska Nurses Association has also expressed their gratitude saying this agreement quote - represents tremendous collaboration between our community and union members – and that they’re thankful everyone could put the patients first.
