UAA Recycling and Total Reclaim are hosting a recycling event for household electronics. Last summer, UAA and Total Reclaim collected more than 6 tons of electronics to recycle!
- What is accepted? CD and DVD players, MP3 players, old game consoles, VCRs, phones and more. A good rule of thumb is that if it has a cord or requires a battery to operate, it can likely be recycled. A small fee will apply for TVs and monitors.
- What is not accepted? Business electronics, batteries, appliances, light bulbs and smoke detectors.
The event will take place this Saturday, June 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in UAA's West Parking Lot at the corner of Lake Otis Parkway and Providence Drive.
