Free seminar readies pilots for Summer season

The Tom Wardleigh hangar will come alive Saturday for the 29th annual Seaplane Safety Seminar

Learn more about preparing your aircraft after winter storage, invasive water weeds of Alaska and how to take the search out of search and rescue.

Pilots of all skill levels make this seminar an annual event to make sure they are up to speed on the latest like the traffic advisory frequency updates.

The Seminar is Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Tom Wardleigh Hangar, at the Office of Aircraft Services, 4405 Lear Court, on Lake Hood.

Registration starts at 8 a.m., with seminars starting at 8:30 and running until 4 p.m. Lunch will be available, so plan to come and stay for the day.
