The National Transportation Safety Board says one person is dead and another seriously injured after a small plane crashed on takeoff in Tatitna, Alaska.

TATITNA- The National Transportation Safety Board says one person is dead and another seriously injured after a small plane crashed on takeoff in Tatitna, Alaska.
The Piper PA-18 crashed into trees at the end of a 1,200-foot gravel airstrip on Friday evening.
Clint Johnson, chief of the NTSB in Anchorage, says the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
