Someone Tries to get Pot into Bethel Jail

Law officers are investigating an apparent smuggling attempt to get drugs inside the Bethel jail

BETHEL - Law officers are investigating an apparent smuggling attempt to get drugs inside the Bethel jail.
   
Someone threw two rubber gloves filled with marijuana, tobacco, cigarettes and rolling paper over the fence at the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center.
   
Correctional officers found the gloves during a grounds search.
   
Alaska State Troopers with the Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team say video surveillance shows someone throwing the gloves over the fence.
   
Officials say later, a grocery bag was found from the same area of the yard. It contained paperwork that identifies a suspect.
   
Troopers aren't releasing any names while they investigate.
