Anchorage police have taken the lead investigative role in the case of a missing 22-year-old airman from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
Military officials say Senior Airman Clinton Reeves disappeared
more than a week ago. The military also is investigating.
The Anchorage Daily News (http://bit.ly/IBjlSW ) says Reeves was
last seen leaving work April 19 and the last time someone heard
from him was three days later.
Anchorage police Lt. Dave Parker says the unusual circumstances
in the unexplained absence prompted police to consider the case a
possible criminal matter.
Parker says police found Reeves' rented red Dodge Avenger on
Friday on the 300 block of McCarrey Street. Inside the vehicle were
Reeves' Air Force uniforms and groceries.
