ANCHORAGE - A 39-year-old homeless man has been accused of downloading child pornography on a computer at the Haines tribal office.
Randolph T. Williams Jr. faces 11 counts of possessing child pornography. Police allege he downloaded the pictures Nov. 19 from a computer the public is allowed to use at the Chilkoot Indian Association office in Haines. According to charging documents, Williams attempted to hide the computer screen when people walked by, and the tribal administrator later found pictures in the computer trash bin. Police say the images were of girls under the age of 12. Williams was arrested later at his mother's home. According to police, he admitted using the computer but denied viewing pornography. His public defender didn't immediately return a message Monday. Most Popular
