ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police have identified two officers who fired at a man who police say pointed a handgun at them during a weekend traffic stop.
Lt. Dave Parker said Wednesday that Officers Angela Fraize and Robert Block fired their service weapons Sunday evening. Police say 22-year-old Kyle Swann was shot in the left arm and remains hospitalized. He has been charged with felony assault. Fraize has been with Anchorage police for five years and Block for one year. Police said Swann was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped downtown. A computer check showed that Swann had a warrant for his arrest for failing to attend a hearing on drug charges. |
