ANCHORAGE - Police are investigating a possible abduction of a child from the Alaska Native Medical Center around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. (10/2)

Detectives say Monica Vasquez, 30, is the biological mother of the child, however, because of her actions police are seeking the woman and child. Detectives are concerned for the safety of both the mother and child.

Vasquez is 5'6" and weighs 200 pounds. If you know further information regarding this incident, please contact APD 786-8900.
