Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

Anchorage Police are asking the public for help in identifying a woman who committed an armed robbery Tuesday night at the Alaska Tobacco Shop in midtown.

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage Police are asking the public for help in identifying a woman who committed an armed robbery Tuesday night at the Alaska Tobacco Shop in midtown.

Police have images of the suspect from the store security cameras. The suspect is an Asian female, 20-25 years old, 5’3” and weighs about 120 pounds. She wore a purple Northface jacket, sunglasses, a black head band, blue jeans, tan boots and brandished a handgun.

Anyone who has information about this suspect should call APD immediately at 786-8900.
