ANCHORAGE- Alaska state officials say a free public event in Anchorage will focus on how consumers can protect themselves from fraud.
The Anchorage Fraud Summit is set to be held Monday at Anchorage's Loussac Library.
Officials say a panel presentation is scheduled between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., and again at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the library's Marston Theater
Panelists include representatives of federal and state agencies, including the U.S. Attorney's office, the FBI and the Alaska Division of Banking and Securities.
Representatives of participating agencies will be on hand in the lobby between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
