Anchorage man dies in snowmobile crash

Alaska State Troopers say a 54-year-old Anchorage man has died in a snowmobile crash at Big Lake.

ANCHORAGE- Alaska State Troopers say a 54-year-old Anchorage man has died in a snowmobile crash at Big Lake.

Troopers say William Hunsuck was pronounced dead at the scene of the Sunday night crash on the Big Lake ice road.
Troopers were notified of the crash shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to troopers, Hunsuck was traveling at a high rate of speed when the snowmobile went over a snow berm on the side of the road, went out of control and started to roll.
Troopers say Hunsuck was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. Troopers say Hunsuck was wearing a helmet.
An investigation of the crash continues.
