Anchorage Police Seek Man Who Attacked 2 Women

Anchorage police as looking for a man who is believed to have sexually assaulted two women in the Mountain View area this past week.

ANCHORAGE- Anchorage police as looking for a man who is believed to have sexually assaulted two women in the Mountain View area this past week.
The first rape happened on North Hoyt Street on Tuesday. The second assault near Bragaw Street and Penland Parkway on Wednesday.
Anchorage Police spokeswoman Dani Myren says in both cases, the suspect targeted female victims who were walking alone. He followed them for a while before approaching them with a weapon and forcing them to a secluded area.
Myren says both women were in their 20's.
The suspect is described as a darker skinned man who is 20-30 years old and approximately 5'5-5'10 tall, with a thin build, short cropped hair, and a faint goatee. He is reported to be armed with a handgun.
