Browder Announces Retirement; School Board Names Graff To Replace

Cheif Academic Officer Ed Graff Next ASD Superintendent

Superintendent Jim Browder notified the Anchorage School Board that he will retire, effective June 14, 2013.

Thursday the board unanimously agreed to name Ed Graff, the district's Cheif Academic Officer, the new superintendent of ASD

Graff has been with the district since 1991.

The board will formally vote on the change at its regular meeting on Monday.

how do you retire after 8 months, I think this was his way of getting his foot in the door for for getting his new position. the money. does he really think we're idiots.
