Crews Work to Fix Water Main Break on Old Seward Highway

A water main break on the Old Seward Highway between International and Tudor Road is slowing down traffic and officials are asking drivers to avoid the area.

ANCHORAGE - A water main break near 50th Avenue is slowing down traffic and officials are asking drivers to avoid the area.

 
The break is on Old Seward Highway between International and Tudor Road near Treeforms Amish Furniture and Continental Motors. At least one of the two lanes on the road is completely flooded making it difficult for motorists and pedestrians.
 
Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility is working to fix the break.
