Authorities say a Fairbanks woman has died after her car collided with a moose.

FAIRBANKS- Authorities say a Fairbanks woman has died after her car collided with a moose.


Alaska State Troopers said the accident occurred early Saturday morning. They say 23-year-old Brittney Zabriskie's vehicle was traveling on Sheep Creek Road when it collided with a moose and then went into the ditch.


Zabriskie was killed in the collision, and officials are sending her body to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
