Homer Man Dies in Motorcycle-Vehicle Crash

A Homer man driving a motorcycle has died in a crash.

ANCHORAGE- A Homer man driving a motorcycle has died in a crash.

34-year-old Travis Coffey died Sunday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle and slid head-on into the path of an oncoming pickup.

Alaska State Troopers say the accident happened at Mile 19 of East End Road.

Coffey, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Alaska Bureau of Highway Safety continues to investigate.
