Kodiak Teenager Critical After Shooting

Kodiak police say a 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after a shooting at a home.

KODIAK- Kodiak police say a 16-year-old boy is in critical condition after a shooting at a home.
The teen was visiting the home of another teen Sunday night when the shotgun shooting occurred.
Police Chief T.C. Kamai says police responded to a report that the boy was accidentally shot by the other boy. Kamai says the shooting is under investigation.
The wounded boy was taken to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. Kamai says his understanding is that the teen was taken to Anchorage for further treatment.
