ANCHORAGE- A man suspected of multiple thefts from cars parked at recreation areas near Willow has been arrested.

Alaska State Troopers say 38-year-old James E. Morgan is charged with theft, credit card fraud and other charges.

Someone broke into cars at Nancy Lake Recreation Area at least three times in September. Credit cards taken from the vehicles were used at businesses in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.

Troopers say Morgan used credit cards stolen from the cars.

Troopers on Oct. 6 followed Morgan as he drove into the recreation area.

Troopers say he was arrested as he looked into cars parked at the Red Shirt Lake Trailhead.
