ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The National Transportation Safety Board has released some 2,000 pages connected to its investigation of a crash of an Alaska State Trooper helicopter crash that killed the pilot, a Talkeetna trooper and the man they had rescued.

The Eurocopter AS35 left Anchorage in response to a distress call from Ober, who had injured his ribs near Talkeetna and was not dressed for a night outdoors.

Nading and Toll picked up Ober and took off but crashed after a flight of only about two minutes.

Information released touches on Nading's flying record, use of night vision goggles and circumstances preceding the crash.

The final report is expected this summer.
