ANCHORAGE- Anchorage police say the owner of a pizza restaurant was shot and critically injured in at attempted robbery.

Police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro says that the owner of Capone's Pizza, 39-year-old Eric Ambris, was shot multiple times early Thursday morning.
Police just after 1 a.m. took a call that shots had been fired near 12 Avenue and Gambell Street on the city's east side.
They found Ambris with wounds to his chest and leg. He was rushed to a hospital.
Police say they're seeking a 5-foot-11-inch slender man who wore a dark, hooded shirt and bluejeans.
