SITKA- The superintendent of Sitka schools says he will resign at the end of the school year.
Steve Bradshaw announced the decision last week at a Sitka School Board meeting.
He is starting his 13th year on the job and he had worked for three more years as principal of Sitka High School.
Bradshaw will be 62 years old next month.
He says he's not sure what he will do after he leaves the superintendent's job.
He was an applicant for the job of Sitka city administrator earlier this year but was not picked.
