Soldotna Man, Youth Charged With Throwing Firebomb

Alaska State Troopers say 20-year-old Soldotna man and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody after they threw a homemade firebomb onto a street.

ANCHORAGE- Alaska State Troopers say 20-year-old Soldotna man and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody after they threw a homemade firebomb onto a street.

Troopers say an officer arrested Elijah Jackson on Saturday with the unnamed juvenile.
Troopers say the two threw the bottle with flammable liquid onto Arlyann Avenue and nearly hit a passing car with two people inside.
Spokeswoman Beth Ipsen says they claimed they were not throwing at the car and didn't see it coming around a curve. No one was hurt.
Troopers reached the scene just before 7 p.m.
Jackson is charged with assault and reckless endangerment.
The teen was charged as a juvenile.
