ANCHORAGE- State health officials are keeping an eye on cases of measles.

Officials say they are especially monitoring cases in people who have been traveling in the Phiillippines, where authorites declared a measles outbreak in Manila.

A concern here in Alaska because of the large Filipino population and the many residents that traveled to the Phillippines during the holidays to help in post-typhoon relief efforts.

In 1998, Anchorage had an outbrreak with 30 confirmed cases.
