Two teenagers are hospitalized after assault in Wasilla

 WASILLA, AK -- Troopers say two 14-year old males are hospitalized with serious injuries after being assaulted by 24-year old Jonathan Kaalakea and 20-year old Jaime Kaalakea of Wasilla.

Multiple 9-1-1 calls were received by troopers reporting the assult, but by the time troopers arrived at the scene, the two men left in a vehicle.

Troopers located the vehicle shortly on the palmer wasilla highway, and a short interview releved the Kaalakeas had assulted the teenagers in retaliation for rude hand gestures.

Jonathan was arrested on third and fourth degree assult and is set on $3,000 bail in the Mat Su Pretrial Facility.
Jamie was issued a misdemeanor for fourth degree assult and was released at the scene.
