Accused Juneau Shooter Pleads Not Guilty

Kenneth Nalan, 35, is facing charges of felony assault. Police say Nalan shot John Nicholas Duran, 33, with a 3-57 caliber gun on December 20th.

A Juneau man accused of shooting another man in the face has pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial yesterday. (1/3/2012)
Kenneth Nalan, 35, is facing charges of felony assault. Police say Nalan shot John Nicholas Duran, 33, with a 3-57 caliber gun on December 20th. Duran was critically injured and was flown to a Seattle hospital where he had facial reconstruction surgery.
Nalan has been released under a third party custodian agreement. His trial is scheduled to begin March 27th
