The Juneau-Douglas City Museum is set to reopen Monday following the installation of a new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system.

Reports say work on the project will continue this summer.

Most of the work, however, will occur outside the building or in the basement, and is expected to have little impact on visitors.

The museum has been closed for one month during some of the work.
