JUNEAU- Alaska's oldest operating hotel will get a makeover.
The Travel Channel's "Hotel Impossible" will be in Juneau next week to spruce up the Alaskan Hotel, which opened its doors 100 years ago this month.
The TV show works with local staff to transform hotels. The show will hire two Juneau contractors to perform the work.
Last year, the realty show featured Glacier Bear Lodge in Yakutat. The production company will stop there this weekend before heading to Juneau.
