The jury selection process is underway in Anchorage for the second murder trial of a woman that allegedly set a plot to kill her mother in 2004.

Rachelle Waterman's second murder trial began wednesday.

Waterman's first trial ended in 2006 with a deadlocked jury, but the Alaska Court of Appeals restored statements she made to police at the time of arrest, leading the state to put Waterman on trial again in Anchorage.
