Catholics in southeast Alaska are being asked to pray for peace in Syria on Saturday.

JUNEAU- Catholics in southeast Alaska are being asked to pray for peace in Syria on Saturday.
Catholics in the Diocese of Juneau and Southeast Alaska are being asked to set aside time from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for public prayer. Making the request is Bishop Edward J. Burns, and it coincides with a planned vigil at the Vatican.
