Tribal Complaint

by Angela Krenzien

An ethics complaint has been filed against a member of the Sitka Tribe of Alaska.

Tribal chairman Woody Widmark says a tribal citizen filed the complaint against councilwoman Stephanie Edenshaw.

Neither the details of the complaint nor the name of the person who filed it are being provided.

Councilwoman Edenshaw has ten days to respond to the ad-hoc committee formed to look into the situation.

Last year, councilman George Paul was removed from the council after an ethics complaint was filed against him.
