The body of a missing Oklahoma man is recovered off the gulf of Alaska's coastline. Troopers found John Dick, 59, over the weekend east of Cordova.
Officials originally spotted the crash last week after two pilots went missing while on an ice run. Troopers say they were part of a five person party that was out recreating about 25 miles away from a privately owned cabin. Based on an on scene investigation the men crashed after taking off to return to the cabin. Almost a week later, Dick's body was discovered.
"Troopers flew out there in a helicopter and recovered the body," said Beth Ipsen, a troopers spokesperson. "It was flown back here to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy."
Troopers are still looking for 68-year-old Richard Stolzfus. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
