State Health Officials Warn Of Rise In Fairbanks HIV Cases

Fairbanks, AK – Alaska health officials have reported a rise in Fairbanks H-I-V cases.

 Since May the Department of Health and Social Services has identified six new cases of HIV. This is an unusually high number in such a short amount of time for the area. Those infected are men between 21 and 33 and are either in the military or reported having sexual relations with someone in the military.
