It’s peanut butter jelly time at UAA. Don’t let tickets get you in a jam this week. The university is kicking off National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness month by allowing students to pay for their parking fines with peanut butter and jelly.
For this week only, if students have an unpaid ticket, they can bring in an un-opened jar of any nut butter or any flavor jelly to the UAA Parking Services office. The product must be commercially produced and not expired. The promotion only lasts through November 8th and isn’t limited to just UAA students. Anyone in the community can donate as many jars as they like and can even cover another students parking fine.
