The President has rejected the building of the Keystone XL pipeline.
After Congress proposed a deadline by the end of 2011, President Barack Obama says he wanted to wait another year before making his decision.
Obama has faced criticism from both sides of the aisle, including democratic Sen. Mark Begich. Begich says, " I think the president made the wrong decision here. I think the keystone pipeline is a good jobs opportunity."
The $7 billion Keystone XL pipeline would have been the longest pipeline outside of Russia and China.
It would have stretched 1,661-miles, with a 36-inch crude oil pipeline that would carry approximately 7,000 barrels of oil per day.
The proposed Keystone Gulf Coast Expansion Project (Keystone XL) would begin at Hardisty, Alberta and extend southeast through Saskatchewan, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska.
It would incorporate a portion of the Keystone Pipeline (Phase II) through Nebraska and Kansas to serve markets at Cushing, Oklahoma.
The Pipeline would continue through Oklahoma to a delivery point near existing terminals in Nederland, Texas to serve the Port Arthur, Texas marketplace.
Canada now plans to export their oil to China.

Did you record your Begich soundbite off of MSNBC? It looks like you just set up a camera and shot another organizations footage?
