This is terrible and irresponsible reporting to simply dismiss the legitimate community health concerns of thousands of people living in the Mat-Su Valley about proposed coal mining. Why should a coal corporation have the right to destroy residential communities, groundwater sources of drinking water, and salmon streams to mine a fossil fuel that is destructive throughout its entire life cycle from mining to transportation and combustion?
