This week marks Child Passenger Safety Week. On Friday, Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be conducting free car seat and booster seat inspections.

This week is National Suicide Prevention Week and it aims to bring awareness to a less commonly discussed issue. But getting help and knowing how to help those around you is crucial, which is why the state is encouraging people to use the acronym A.S.K. for Ask, Stay, Keep.

Throughout the week of May 6th-12th the Alaska Nurses Association is giving thanks to Nurses and bringing awareness to the profession. And Alaska student Nurses at both UAA and Charter College were treated to free coffee on Tuesday as part of National Nurses Week.
