Micheals To Go To The NHL
Jack Michaels the "voice of the Alaska Aces" has announced that he will be leaving the ECHL franchise as he has taken a job as the radio play-by-play broadcaster for the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL. Michaels
earned the 2003 WCHL Broadcaster of the Year award, the 2004 ECHL Broadcaster of the Year award, and five trips to the ECHL All-Star Game during his tenure with the Aces. He also claimed four consecutive "Goldie" awards for Best Play-by-play, as selected by the Alaska Broadcasters Association. He will be missed greatly, as he was a valuable member the community. |
