Every year the Tanoa Bowl showcases top student athletes and their achievements, giving students the opportunity to play in front of recruiters.
This year, the Alaska All Stars blew Oregon away, 42-0 at the Tanoa Bowl, which took place in Washington last month.
Celebrating their big win, the team had their banquet at the Wild Berry Theater.
The Lady T-Birds rocked their own tournament with a big win against the defending champions, the North Pole Patriots.The Lady T-Bird Classic is a 3 day tournament that kicked off on January 19th at East High School in Anchorage. It was the first time in several years that the Lady T-Birds won their on classic.
The X Games kick off on January 26th and they will be bringing some intense action with snowboarding, skiing and snow machining, but one event not to overlook is mono skiing. Alaska locals, Greg Peck and Andrew Kurka are among this year's participants in the mono skiing event. Be sure to tune in to ABC to check it out!
