The UAA Volleyball team quickly turned their season around from a sweep at home to a losing streak on the road.
The Seawolves lost both matches Friday in 5 sets to UCSD and Metro State.
Juniors Mckenzie Moss and Jackie Matthisen combined for 31 kills, but a valiant comeback effort fell short for the 24th-ranked Alaska Anchorage volleyball team...in a 3-2 loss to 8th-ranked University of California San Diego.
McKenzie Moss had a huge game later in the night as well. she notched 16 kills but it wasn’t quite enough for the 24th-ranked Alaska Anchorage volleyball team Friday night as the Seawolves lost their second 5-set match of the day at the Phoenix Inn GNAC Conference Challenge, falling to 10th-ranked Metro State.
The Seawolves complete play at the Challenge on Saturday when they face 2nd-ranked Cal State-San Bernardino at 9 a.m. ADT, followed by a 4 p.m. matchup with Humboldt State
