FAIRBANKS- Winter driving conditions are prevalent in parts of the Interior on Friday.

Travel isn't advised on the Taylor Highway after 6 p.m. Friday.
The Alaska Department of Transportation says heavy snow is falling on American Summit on the highway, a 160-mile stretch which connects Eagle to the Alaska Highway near Tok.
There is snow and icy conditions along the gravel highway, and up to eight inches is expected at the summit near Eagle.
