JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - State officials say breaded shrimp
packages being recalled has been distributed in Alaska.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation says in a
release that Rich Products Corp. is recalling the shrimp since the
coating could have whey, but it's not listed on the ingredient
label. Officials say whey is a milk allergen.
Being recalled are 22-ounce packages of SeaPak Breaded Butterfly
Shrimp. The packages contain a "Best By" date of Jan. 25, 2013,
and a product code of 10302.
